This policy explains how Versatile Luxury Properties LLC, doing business as Versatile Stays ("we", "us"), collects and uses information when you visit versatileluxuryproperties.com, contact us, or book a stay with us.

What we collect

  • Information you give us. When you fill out a form, call, text or email us, we collect what you share: your name, email address, phone number, travel dates, preferred location, company name and your message.
  • Booking information. If you book a stay, we collect the details needed to host you, such as the names of guests, stay dates and contact details. Bookings made on our booking site are processed by Hospitable, and payments are handled by their payment processor. We don't store your full card number.
  • Guest verification. Some buildings require identity verification or a background check before check-in. When that applies, a third-party screening provider collects the information it needs, under its own privacy policy.
  • Usage information. Like most websites, we automatically collect basic information about your visit, such as pages viewed, the site that referred you, your browser and device type, and your approximate location based on your IP address.

Cookies and analytics

We use cookies that keep the website working, and Google Analytics cookies that help us understand how visitors use the site, such as which pages people view and whether they reach out to us. You can accept or decline analytics cookies in the cookie banner, block cookies in your browser settings, or use Google's opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

How we use your information

  • To answer your questions, share availability and rates, and set up your stay
  • To host your stay: check-in instructions, building access, support during your stay and follow-up after checkout
  • To process payments, prevent fraud and meet building, legal and tax requirements
  • To improve our website and services

If you give us your phone number, we may call or text you about your inquiry or stay. We don't send marketing texts. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts from us.

How we share information

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only with:

  • Service providers that help us run the business, such as our website host (Squarespace), our booking and messaging platform (Hospitable), payment processors, guest-screening providers, and Google Analytics
  • Building management, when a building requires guest registration
  • Authorities, when the law requires it, or when it's needed to protect the safety of our guests, our properties or others

How long we keep information

We keep inquiry and booking records for as long as needed to provide our services and to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations, and then delete them.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing info@versatileluxuryproperties.com. California residents and residents of other states with privacy laws may have additional rights, including the right to know what we collect and the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We don't sell or share personal information in that sense. We won't discriminate against you for using your rights.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including an encrypted (HTTPS) website. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Children

Our website and services are not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
